Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 11, 2026

By signing up for or using Same Team, you're agreeing to these terms. We've kept this as plain and honest as we can — if anything is unclear, ask us.

What Same Team is, right now

Same Team is currently a small, invite-only pilot program. It's free to participate — we're not charging anyone during this pilot, and joining doesn't commit you to anything paid later. We may launch a paid version of Same Team in the future; if that happens, it'll be a separate, clear choice, not something you're automatically moved into.

Who can participate

You must be at least 18 years old. Same Team is designed for couples — she signs up and shares her cycle information, and her partner separately opts in to receive his own texts. Both partners need to actually agree to participate; one partner can't sign the other up without their knowledge or consent.

Text messages

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Same Team related to the service. Message frequency varies (typically a few texts per week). Message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of participating in anything we may charge for in the future. We aren't responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by your wireless carrier.

Email

We'll only use the email address you provide to send you Same Team-related email — never sold or shared for others' marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email we send, at any time, without affecting your text messages. Email and text messaging are separate under these terms — opting out of one doesn't change the other.

What Same Team is — and isn't

Same Team provides educational, relationship-focused content about the menstrual cycle and how it can affect a couple's dynamic. This is not medical advice, and Same Team is not a substitute for a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider. Anything related to fertility timing specifically is an estimate based on the dates you provide — it is not precise enough to be used for contraception or conception decisions. If timing matters to you for either of those reasons, please talk to a doctor or use a dedicated medical-grade tracking method.

Your information

How we collect, use, and protect your information is covered in our Privacy Policy — by using Same Team, you're also agreeing to that policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Same Team to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself to your partner or to us, or to share cycle/health information about someone else without their knowledge and consent. We may end anyone's participation if we believe these terms are being misused.

Ending your participation

You (or we) can end your participation in the pilot at any time. Texting STOP ends text messages specifically; if you'd like to be removed from Same Team entirely, just let us know.

Ownership

The text content, Deeper Dive page, and related materials are Same Team's own work. Please don't copy or redistribute them without asking us first.

No guarantees

Same Team is a pilot program, still being refined based on real feedback. We provide it “as is,” without guaranteeing it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly timed to your exact cycle — timing is always an estimate, never a same-day guarantee (see our Privacy Policy and the disclaimer above). To the extent allowed by law, Same Team isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Same Team evolves. If we make a meaningful change, we'll let pilot participants know directly before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
